Getting started
Your first kit in one sitting.
Everything below is in the app at /app. The same actions are available through the API.
1. Create your account
Go to Register, enter your email, a password of at least 8 characters and your name. You land in the app signed in. The Free plan is on by default: one kit a month, no card.
2. Run your first brief
Choose New brand and fill in the brief. Only the business name is required; the rest sharpens the result.
| Field | What to write | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Business name | The name as it should appear | Kettle & Kiln |
| Description | One or two sentences on what you do | Handmade stoneware and weekend wheel-throwing classes |
| Industry | A few words | Pottery studio |
| Target audience | Who buys | Adults in Portland looking for a creative hobby |
| Personality | Three adjectives | earthy, patient, playful |
| Color preference | Optional: a color, a mood, or a color to avoid | warm browns, no neon |
The examples are from a sample brand we use to test the engine.

3. Watch the job
Generation runs in the background. The job view shows progress and a stage; you can leave and come back. If a worker restarts, a job with no progress for a while is marked stalled with a message to generate again; it costs no extra credit to retry a stalled job.
4. Open your kit
A finished kit has the wordmark lockup (logo.png, SVG in the files), the color system with its contrast table, the type system, the voice, the list of applied assets and the research behind the decisions. The research view lists the sources read, the colors and fonts measured from them and the rationale, as Markdown or JSON.
5. Use kit chat
Ask the kit to explain a decision or to propose a change to the brief. The conversation stays with the kit, so you can come back to it.
6. Compare a logo
Upload an alternative logo image and the compare tool scores it against your kit's current logo and writes a short brief of the differences.
7. Render mockups
Choose from app icon, sticker, pattern, notepad, business card, coffee cup, shopping bag and packaging box. Each is composited from your logo and served as a PNG.
8. Download the guide
guidelines.pdf renders from the completed kit on request. On the Free plan the guide is shown in the app; the PDF download needs Pro or Agency.
What is coming soon
